The flyer is designed to be applicable to as many situations as possible. Its copyright attribution contains the disclaimer "Not affiliated with any school district." which allows it to comply with most school district requirements for distribution.

Finally, using the flyer unifies your longhouse’s advertising message with other programs in the country. No matter which state your program is located in, the message will be consistent. No conflicting advertising messages with other NS&D programs. No confused readers. This produces clarity through consistency which is so important in building brand recognition with those potential members your longhouse has yet to find.

Can it be customized to our local needs?

Yes, but only a portion of the flyer. Your longhouse will be provided with a flyer template containing a customizable text box (7 ¼” x 2 ½”). Color logos, contact information, event dates, and such can then be added to the text box and sent directly to the vendor for pre-press integration. Your customization will be printed with the same high quality ink used on the remaining portions of the flyer. Your longhouse may change its customizable text box throughout the year for different events, however, ordering minimum and aggregate maximum as specified below, still applies. If desired, the text box can be left blank, making it useful for those situations where contact information or event dates change frequently. The information can then be added at a later time by reprinting the text box area with an inkjet or laser printer.

What are the ordering details and restrictions?

Flyers are only available to local longhouses charted by, and affiliated to, National Longhouse, Ltd. They cannot be ordered directly by tribes or the general membership. (However, tribes and individuals may redistribute those flyers once they receive the distribution from their local longhouse).
