THE DWARF

There are many versions of "The Dwarf" skit. The basic theme is to make the dads in the tribe look like dwarfs. This is accomplished by having the dads face the audience and kneal on their knees behind a piece of cardboard or plywood so that only their chest and head can be seen. A pair of child's pants, socks and shoes should be stuffed with newspaper, pinned together, and attached the the dad's shirt so that the dads look like a dwarfs. A stool can be placed in front of the cardboard, so that the dwarfs appear to be sitting.

The dads should be wearing a baggy shirt or sweatshirt with their arms inside of their shirt. The children should be hidden behind the dads, inside the back of the dad's shirt. The children should place their arms inside of their dad's sleeves.

From here, the skit can go in many directions. One version is to show good grooming habits in the morning. The child's hands brushes the dad's hair, washes the dad's face, brushes the dad's teeth. For the finale, the child's hand squirt a big glob of shaving cream into the other hand, spreads it on the dad's face, and begins shaving!
